Combination Brows

Combination Brows

Combination brows combine microbladed hairstrokes or machine nanostrokes with machine powder shading into a single technique. The most adaptable technique is this one. Depending on the style, it can be considered the most natural, hyper-realistic look as well as the most dramatic, defined look. Faux hairstrokes and shading are used to blend the texture and appearance of your existing, natural hair into your new shape and faux hairstrokes. Combination brows are the only technique that allows for a natural, yet defined, structured finish with hairstrokes.

Combo brows are ideal for clients who have normal to oily skin. If your skin is too oily for microblading alone, combo brows could be a good option. If you have sparse brows, the shading can give them more body, while the hair strokes keep them looking natural.

Touch-ups are recommended on a regular basis to keep your brows looking good. Clients typically return every 1-2 years for a colour boost to maintain the shape and saturation of their brow tattoo, which will naturally fade over time. Fading is actually beneficial because it allows you to tweak or change the shape of your brows as trends change or you want to adopt a new look.

*Kindly note that for new clients, a touch-up is recommended within 6 to 8 weeks to achieve a more vibrant and lasting result. Please be advised that the touch-up is not included in the initial pricing.

The tattooed area may appear to have completely vanished or lightened. As your skin regenerates, the hair strokes will gradually reappear at a lighter shade within 1-2 weeks. The healing process takes about 6 weeks, during which time the true colour of the tattoo becomes visible.

The procedure's pain level is considered mild to none. We will apply a topical anaesthetic to numb the area prior to the procedure, and it will be reapplied during the procedure. Everyone reacts differently to anaesthetic; depending on the client, the procedure has been described as ranging from light cat scratches to not feeling anything at all.

Your brows will be very dark for the first 3 days, then they will begin to scab.

  • Do not apply any makeup on the tattooed area for 2 weeks. Cosmetics of any kind will interfere with the healing and color of your eyebrows.
  • Avoid heavy sweating, gym and working out for 7-10 days following your procedure.
  • No swimming pools, Jacuzzi or other bodies of water for 2 weeks.
  • Do not tint, bleach, dye, or preform a brow lamination for 4 weeks following your procedure.
